If there are any children out there reading this blog, stop now and only return later. Parents this one is not for little eyes. I wish I could take this one to Readers Digest or some place like that. The money for stories in All In The Life would be worth it. But I must mention a disclaimer now: I teach in public schools and not everything from those precious students are not always family appropriate.
But I am still giggling over this one. Remember those carrots and bunnies? This one is better.
With no more further ado....
The other day I am helping my students work on a project that is due in three days. Like all students, when class time is given to them to work, conversations begin that have nothing do to with the topic. Nearby, a student began to talk about his ability to argue. He clearly was very talented (according to him) and he knew exactly where his ability came from. Everyday when he went home he "mass debated" with his his parents. Now this caught my attention. With a pained expression on my face I asked him....What? He looked at me with all innocence and said that he "mass debates" at home. I didn't know what to say and began to make those painful laughs. I just told him to find another adjective. He thought for a minute and began to gasp and those sounds of OH OH! He apologized and found another way of expressing himself.
Easily said I left school still laughing.
If any of you reading this are missing the punchline, very, very quietly repeat what he said three times fast and hear what you said. Just make sure you are in a place that won't get you in trouble. Enjoy!
So much for the bunnies. I'll just save those for when I am in mixed company.

Oh Belinda. The education that you are getting is priceless. Now you could always send this in to that male magazine we won't mention. Only you get these great experiences.
That is pretty funny!
This reminds me of a mock Marti Graz pot luck we had at my former employers. We had King Cake where you try to find baby Jesus, masks and beads galore. This was a professional environment so fully clothed. When I sat down at the table I turned to my coworker and said, "Nice blue beads." I genuinely thought Ford would like them. My other coworker, Chad thought I said something else- say it fast.
That is pretty funny. Are the other kids harrassing him for that comment?
Critch...I had to say yours about 15 times before I got what the problem was. I would have liked to have seen your coworkers face!
THAT'S IT? WHAT IS THIS A QUARTERLY BLOGGING EXPERIENCE?
